About the Founder

Howard A. Zuckerman has worked in the real estate business since 1972.

After graduating with a BS in Marketing from The Ohio State University, he put a simple two line ad in the newspaper that said “aggressive college grad seeks a job in the real estate development field.” Howard got a response from a developer to assist in leasing an office building. This developer was Milton (Gimp) Fromson,. He spent many hours mentoring and helping Howard to understand the business.

Intent on learning as much as he could about the business, he next attended the University of Wisconsin’s Masters in Real Estate program. There, Howard was fortunate to be mentored by Professor James A. Graaskamp.  At that time, Graaskamp was the leading educator in real estate studies on a university level. It was during this time that Howard developed the lifelong practice of reading numerous industry-related books and magazines.

After graduation, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin his career. Over the last thirty years, Howard has been involved as a General Partner in thousands of apartment units and a builder/developer of both residential and commercial properties. During the early 1990’s, he authored numerous real estate books and newsletters:
